August 2022, 4 young musicians proposed a public rehearsal in Rignac, France, prior to their concert scheduled in Les Junies, near Cahors. The beginning of a beautiful adventure.

The magic of music, combined with that of 4 artists in unison, resonated both with the old stones of our 12^th-century church, and with the audience. Thus came the idea that the experience should be repeated in a more open form, to a wider crowd.

Creating “Les Rencontres de Rignac” sprouted naturally from it: an opportunity to stimulate mutual inspiration between musicians, to foster encounters with a public, and to give back to a region that had so generously welcomed them.
