Deep mezzo Ariane Le Fournis is currently studying for a Master 1 in early music singing at the CNSMD in Lyon, France. She discovered music as a flautist and harpsichordist at the CRD in Le Mans before moving to Paris, where she enrolled in literary preparatory classes. She obtained a Licence in musicology and a Master’s degree in literature, before continuing at the CRD of Gennevilliers, where she trained in oriental singing.

Le Fournis also sings in vocal ensembles (Musica Vera, Spirito, le Concert Spirituel, Gilles Binchois, Vox Luminis, Correspondances) and in young baroque ensembles, such as the Transatlantique (Latin American repertoires, with whom she sang in Lima, Peru), l’Orangier (French Baroque), Matica de Flor (Sephardic).

She regularly performs as a solo viola, in concerts with orchestra and in operas (3rd Child and 3rd Lady in The Magic Flute at the Besançon-Montfaucon Festival), solo viola in Haydn’s Missa in tempore Belli, in 2023 at the Conservatoire, solo vila in the Requiem in C with the Vox Luminis ensemble and the B-Rock orchestra, in May 2023, viola at the Versailles concert Naissance de Versailles, musique de Louis XIII with Musica Vera, in October 2023.
